I went shopping yesterday and didn't quite meet my challenge - but instead of spending $200 for a week, like I usually do, I got 2 weeks worth of food for around $140. First... As I was peeing (TMI?) right before we headed out the door, I used the last of the toilet paper. I'm glad that… MORE

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
Awesome flavor, shape and lift... my only problem was that they were a little tough. I'm not sure if it was me over-mixing it, or my weird electric oven or the fact that my honey opened the oven door about 40 times "Are they done yet??". I will definitely make these again and try to mix less. I got 5 good sized perfect biscuits and 1 slightly "special" shaped one from the remaining dough. They're all gone and there's only two of us here, so that's high praise indeed!

Tanya's Louisiana Southern Fried Chicken
I made this using BLSL breasts cut into "fingers" for my son's 5th birthday. He wanted "awesome fried chicken, smashed taters and green beans" I made a whole bag of breasts and between all the kids, there was hardly any left for the grown ups! Soooooooo good! I can't wait to try it with "real" chicken with bones... super yummy!

Soft Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks
These didn't work for us. The texture was off and 18 minutes burnt the sticks. The 2nd pan I baked for 10-12 minutes and they were not burnt, but still not great. I won't be making these again.
