This is one of my favorite recipes on this site. Simple, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I wouldn't cook a whole chicken any other way. Thanks for submitting!

Like many people this is also one of my favorite soups. I have made it many times and in various ways. If I want it to be soupier I add more chicken stock (my husband likes it like this) and I usually use fresh green chills that I sauté with the onions and garlic instead of the canned. I have also made it omitting the hominy when it is not available in m cupboard.... I do like it better with the hominy but if you don't have it still do the recipe, it is amazing! Thanks.
