The casserole was very good however I like more meat than sauerkraut. But the taste was very much like a reuben sandwich.

We loved this recipe. After reading some of the other reviews I only used 1/3 pkg of dry ranch dressing and it came out great. I also put a piquant sauce on top...family tradition. it consisted of 1/3 c. catsup, 3 T. brown sugar, 1 tsp. mustard and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. The whole thing was really good. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.
