About this Cook
I'm one of those people who can eat everything and always stay skinny and I do love to eat!
My favorite things to cook
I like to make roasts and casseroles and pretty much anything really with many flavors combined to make the meal very interesting.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in a big family and we made big meals with big cuts of meat and well-balanced meals and that's how I like to cook too!
My cooking triumphs
I create many serendipities because I like to experiment and I can imagine in my head what things will taste like when I combine them. I will only infrequently use recipes to cook and many things I will just cook on the spot from experience. If I do use a recipe, it almost always will be changed to suit my own tastes.
My cooking tragedies
I'm sure we've all created the occasional blackened morsel, but I've always been lucky not to burn down the house yet!

Cowboy Stew II
This stew is quick, easy, delicious and filling! I added garlic and a half jar of jalapeƱos because it was cold out and a spicy stew was just what I wanted.

Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Meatballs
I didn't care for these at all. Perhaps that is just the carnivore in me.

Two-Tone Baked Potatoes
This was very good but not something I'll cook again.
