White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
Warning: Make sure you have plenty of milk to drink before making these. These are AMAZING!!! The whole family went nuts for these cookies. I didn't change anything, but I used Andes candies pieces, and the combination of the mint and chocolate cookie were to die for. I can't wait to try these with white choc and peanut butter chips. Thank you for the perfect chocolate cookie recipe.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
In spite of my pan being too hot, and ending up with a few "scrambles," it was delicious. This is absolutely going into the regular meal cycle. I added a bit of nutmeg and topped with some chopped, fresh sage that I had on hand.

Old-Fashioned Vanilla Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Delicious. I used skim milk, and flour in lieu of cornstarch and it turned out perfect. I also only had 3 tbs of butter left, but again not a problem. I layered it with leftover chocolate cake and semi-sweet chocolate while the pudding was still warm. Heavenly.

Stef's Whoopie Pies with Peanut Butter Frosting

Just made these and the cake did not rise at all. The filling was very sweet. My 8 year old wouldn't finish one, but my husband thought they were okay.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I've made several versions of pancakes, and these were probably the fluffiest I've ever made. The family loved them. Only change I made was adding a tsp. of vanilla. As per another review, I sifted the dry ingredients twice.

Very easy to make. I just added chocolate chips to the bag before microwaving and was pleased enough with the result.

Just the right amount of glaze. I had to cook a bit longer, but otherwise a great recipe.

AMAZING! I just made them for the first time and I can't stop eating them. Even my 7 year old, who hates nuts, loves them. Thank you for this recipe.

I halved recipe and used 1 cup milk. Consistency was good. Next time I'll use a better quality chocolate.

Lemon Chicken Tenders

Soooo good! I only used about 2 tbs of sugar and it was great. The sauce is very strong, but wonderful. I left half plain for the children. I also used Panko instead and they were very crispy and delicious. A new favorite for all.

Delicious! I made these with my 6 and 7 year old girls and they were so easy. I used Smart Balance instead of shortening and 2 tbs of sugar and thought it was just right.

Chicken Pot Pie Soup with Toasted Almonds

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
This recipe went over very well in our house. I did tweak it a little for health reasons; I used a cholesterol friendly option in place of butter and used another tbs of flour in the paste, and skim milk instead of cream. I skipped the almonds too and served it over biscuits. Yummy!
