Garlic Prime Rib

amazing! I used extra garlic and was out of thyme, so I used Italian seasoning. I paid close attention to pulling the roast out at 138 so it was cooked perfectly. yum!

I made this mainly for the color next to the quacamole for Christmas. But OMG, this was such a huge surprise for taste. No one could stop eating it. I made it exactly as the recipe called. My only advice is that when you cook the cranberries put them in a pot with tall sides, it started overflowing all over my oven.

I thought this recipe was ok. I made it for christmas morning. I enjoyed one helping, but my kids did not like it at all. I doubt I would make it again.

Potato Clam Chowder

This was a great chowder recipe. My 6 yr old turned her nose up at it and said it didn't look good, but after tasting it she loved it and wants to eat it every day. I made a couple changes. I didn't have any thyme or savory so I added some celery seed and old bay seasoning. And I happen to have some light cream that needed to be used, so I subed 1 1/2 c. & 1/2 c. milk for the 2c. milk.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

yummy! My kids and I made for father's day. We just threw in all the ingedients into a bowl stirred then added about 3/4 pint of blueberries. Came out perfect!

Apple Almond Crunch Salad

This salad was a huge hit. I carmalized some nuts for the salad. A few tried the salad before the dressing came around and they enjoyed it plain too.

Beef Pot Roast

just ok, mine came out kind of dry and over cooked. but the onion gravy from the juices was wonderful. I think if it was done by temperature instead of time it would have come out better.

Chocolate Caramel Swirl

I thought it was good, but I would recommend just putting the chocolate shell on it and call it a chocolate covered strawberry. More of a dessert than a cocktail.

Chicken Pot Pie II

I made this tonight. It was a lot of work for just a so so dinner. It would have been much better if it had more gravy. I had to bake for an addition 1/2 hour and my pie crust still didn't brown.
