My family and friends would have a conniption if I didn't make the creme brulee french toast listed on this website for Christmas brunch. I attended a fabulous week long Tuscan cooking class in Siena, Italy. The food was incredible, the people warm and wonderful, and the city is magical. Although we arrived in Italy after the race, we were fortunate to witness some of pageantry of the Palio di Siena which was extraordinary. It was tough to leave, and I lugged a heavy clay cooking pot through the airports coming home. When we got home, my husband delighted me by reproducing a pastry board we used in Tuscany which is one of my greatest toys. I enjoyed Tuscany so much; I named my cat Siena. The list is endless.
