This is literally one of the best cookie recipes I've ever tried. A couple friends and I made these cookies tonight because we were craving something chocolaty with a wonderful hint of mint and this was just what we were looking for. Because we didn't have any mint candies, we instead used a bit of mint extract and they turned out very well! I highly recommend these cookies to anyone who is looking for delicious and easy to prepare cookies.

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

This is a great recipe for the best kind of macaroni and cheese! Homemade is always best. I followed this recipe exactly, except I used one cup of sharp cheddar cheese and one cup of muenster cheese. I also used French-fried onions as a topping rather than bread crumbs just because the onions add a great flavor to the dish. This is a very simple and flavorful recipe that I would recommend to anybody!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These chocolate chip cookies make me seem like a pro to everyone who has tried them. They are simply amazing! As 1/4 cup cookies, a single individual only needs to eat one before they enter a blissful state of chocolate chip cookie goodness! So far I've made the recipe twice. The second time, I accidentally left two cookies in a friend's car and when I called him, he told me that I wasn't getting them back and then ended up telling me how amazing they were.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

I did end up marinating the chicken for a bit beforehand in a garlic and herb marinade. That added a bit of nice flavor. Instead of asparagus I used broccoli and steamed that in with the stock and garlic. The end product yielded a perfect dinner for two and leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The taste is very light, like mentioned, but it is very good!

Baklava

This recipe is amazing. I have been spoiled by only the best baklava at a small Lebanese restaurant that I frequently eat at in my town and the product of this recipe makes for some hefty competition to their recipe. This was the first time I tried my hand at baklava and I did not do too bad at all. I gave some to my dad and he said it was the best Christmas present he'd ever received.
