About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Baklava is my favorite dessert recipe. I experiment with a lot of recipes from baking to grilling and am getting better and better as I expand my cooking abilities.
My cooking triumphs
A white bread and wheat bread recipe that everyone who tried it loved (homemade bread is the best kind)! Recently, I made a very successful tray of baklava that was absolutely amazing. I found the recipe on AllRecipes.com!
My cooking tragedies
Micro-waving a baked potato in a black plastic dish many years ago!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I
This is literally one of the best cookie recipes I've ever tried. A couple friends and I made these cookies tonight because we were craving something chocolaty with a wonderful hint of mint and this was just what we were looking for. Because we didn't have any mint candies, we instead used a bit of mint extract and they turned out very well! I highly recommend these cookies to anyone who is looking for delicious and easy to prepare cookies.

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese
This is a great recipe for the best kind of macaroni and cheese! Homemade is always best. I followed this recipe exactly, except I used one cup of sharp cheddar cheese and one cup of muenster cheese. I also used French-fried onions as a topping rather than bread crumbs just because the onions add a great flavor to the dish. This is a very simple and flavorful recipe that I would recommend to anybody!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
Great zucchini bread recipe! Definitely do not drain the zucchini! It made it so moist and delicious.
