I'm a retired paper mill worker.I was with the company for 35 plus years and I'm enjoying the good life now.My fist passion is cooking.I have been cooking since I was a teen and loved every minute of it. My second passion is gardening,both vegetable and flower,I have hollyhocks about 10 feet in length and I have a variety of squash growing among other veggies and flowers.I live on the central Oregon coast where it is a very mild growing climate.My dream is to be in a cooking contest somewhere sometime.It would be the ultimate challenge.

Marinade for Chicken

A wonderful blend of flavors.I marinated chicken for about 2 hours and both my wife and myself thought it was the best baked chicken. I chopped 2 cloves of garlic and added to the sauce. The next time I make this,I'm going to make a double batch and store 1 batch in the fridge in a mason jar for future use. Thank you so much for the recipe.It really deserves 10 stars,thanks again.

BBQ Steak

My wife and I both thought this recipe was very good.I used it on rib-eye steaks and cooked them in a skillet instead of the grill,still pretty darn tasty. I will use this recipe again,maybe on chicken, next time. Thank you.

Best Chicken Ever

I made this for my wife, and we both thought it needed a little heat. It has a nice tangy and crunchy flavor.When I prepare this dish again,I am going to make it with panko and mayo,but all in all,it is a quick meal for two.
