My cooking tragedies
The first turkey dinner I cooked at the age of 20 I left the giblets in the turkey. Imagine my surprise when my dad carved the turkey and cut into plastic. I was so embrassed, since then I have seen women recieve $10,000 on funniest video shows!

Crispy Cucumbers and Tomatoes in Dill Dressing
My mom who is from Germany has made this salad all my life. She slices the cucumber very thin then puts them in a colander with salt to drain for a while this draws some of the bitter taste away. The only other thing she does different is adding just a little sugar to the mixture.

Best Bread Machine Bread
I have made this recipe several times now and while it makes a great loaf of bread I have not experienced my bread rising to the top of the window. It has made a short fat loaf everytime.

Linda's Lasagna
Amazing, my name is Linda and this recipe is almost like the one I have used for 30 years. Why then did I give it a low rating? I never, never, put water in my sauce because it tends to make the recipe runny. I also add pepperoni to my sauce.
