About this Cook
I love food! I have traveled a lot in Europe, NA and even Russia and I enjoy the local dishes where ever I am! I will continue as much as I can just wish I could do it for a living like Anthony Bordaine. My profession is Design, When the automotive industry tanked I lucked out with a gig in sweden at Electrolux, yes the company cafeteria was incredible!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite dishes usually include stuff I have killed venison, salmon and the ocasional grouse. Then there's pork tenderloin on the grill. Panuche frosting for B-day cake. Chilli is fun so is Salsa. I like to can my own stuff from the garden and make my own jelly from the berries we pick up north. My father-in-law has a orchard surrounded by grape vines so apple pies and grape jelly are some new things I have picked up. I will try cooking anything once the tasty and fun get repeated!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Panuche frosting handed down from grandma! Smoking Salmon over night in the smoker. Cooking grouse and/or woodcock in tinfoil on the fire in the woods for appetizers for Juicy steak!
My cooking triumphs
I have been lucky to have tried many recipes with sucess but the jelly stuff is one of the latest debockles. My blackberry jelly didn't set so I redid it and it worked!
My cooking tragedies
When ever I cook for someone who likes steak well done! What a waste!
