Loved it! I did use only one can of beans. Will make again.

Creme de Menthe Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
Family favorite...been making this recipe for years...the only difference is that my recipe calls for 1/2 c. butter for the brownies instead of the 1 c. that this recipe calls for. Also...I cut the chocolate frosting step in half and drizzle it on top of the creme de menthe frosting instead of making it a full layer.

Totally Tangy Baked French Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
We love this recipe so much that is a regular in our house (though we leave out the cayenne). We dice the potatoes, cook covered in the microwave for 10 minutes, stir, cook another 10 minutes, and they're perfect....cuts the cooking time by more than half!

This recipe has become a favorite and regular. I leave out the bouillon, but leave everything else the same.

Chicken Stuffed Bundles

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
Flavors were good, especially the gravy, but execution was awful. I had to add more shortening to resemble "coarse crumbs", and after rolling the dough to 1/8" thickness, most of the bundles broke. Maybe if you've been making these for 40 years you can prep in 20 minutes, but if you're attempting this for the first time, allow more time. Also, I cooked the bundles for well over 30 minutes, and the pastry never really flaked. The full recipe was too much of a hassle to make again, sorry.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
Execution was awesome, glad to have a dish off the stove well before dinner. All the cream did take flavor away from the potatoes; I will cut back next time.

Sweet Potato Casserole IV

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I cut both brown & white sugar in half, and it was still too sweet for my taste. Somehow it did taste a bit better as leftovers. I doubt I'll make this recipe again.

Exactly what I was looking for. EASY. I added a bit of cinnamon and thought it worked well.

Summer Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
It was alright. I left out the sour cream and added some cubed chicken. For me, the stuffing overpowered everything else. If I were to make it again, I would use this dish as a side, and not as a main course.

Spicy Mango Sweet Potato Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
I would definately make again...loved the sweetness of the mango. I don't like foods too spicy so I left out some of the hot sauce. I would have liked a bit more depth of flavor in the sauce... may play with ginger or curry next time.

Tuna Noodle Casserole III

Good, EASY recipe. 8 oz. pasta was enough for me, and I heeded the other reviewers comments: 1 less can of soup, added rosemary and added pepper... worked well. I also sprinkled bread crumbs on top.
