Chicken and Dumplings I
It was a good simple recipe, a great recipe if you are driving a chuck wagon on a cattle drive in 1867, or if you are just low on money. I think I will try a more fancy recipe next time, maybe more spices and vegees.

Turkey Brine
used a 22 pound turkey. It was very moist as I too cooked it upside down. I should have doubled the spices as I could not really taste them

Deep Fried Oreos(R)
Cooked these up using just add water pancake mix according to the box. Used 375 degree heat, discovered it is best not to use the fry basket, just drop them in the vat and they cook very fast take out when golden.
