Beer Margaritas

very good margarita. I followed recipe but used a cheap tequila and wasn't impressed, it was ok. The second time I used El Jimador tequila and club soda instead of water and it was so much better, could not taste the beer at all. Used Budlight and Minute Maid limeade. Good stuff and a keeper. Thanks.

Zippy Rice Pilaf

Already made it x5. Love the versatility of it and the flavor and found out I really like cumin, had not cooked much with it before, but now i have been trying it in different Mexican dishes. Thanks for sharing.

Buttery Corn Bread

yum!! I have been looking for a recipe like this one. Very moist, sweet and so good. I ate 1/4 of it by myself already with butter and honey. A keeper. thanks for sharing.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Love this cake!! Have baked it twice this week. I tried Pillsbury and Duncan Hines moist white cake and prefer Duncan Hines, Pillsbury crumbled when picked up with fork, DH kept its form. I did increase coffee and Kahlua and whipped 3 cups of cream, which I am glad I did because 2c was not enough. The mascarpone cheese was pricy but was worth every penny, I don't think I will substitute, this cake deserves the best of ingredients. I will be making this forever.

Sweet and Sour Pork III

Awsome!!!! super easy recipe and soooo delicious, better than our favorite chinese restaurant. Since there is a lot of chopping, I chopped all the veggies the night before(also made chinese fried rice from this site)and prepared the meat as well. The actual cooking was a breeze. Love this recipe. Great job Pam!

Mexican Wedding Cookies

mmm... melt in your mouth! easy recipe. Followed other reviewers suggestion to use powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar, ommited almond extract and pecans(didn't have any available). Made balls about 1" in size and baked for 20 minutes, cooled them for about 8 min and powdered them with sugar. Wll defenately make again and again.

Chiles Rellenos Pie

Delicious recipe, I loved the taste of roasted poblanos. Surprisingly, my husband gave it a thumbs up, eventhough he's not much of a chile relleno fan. I used monterey jack cheese(only cheese I had) and ommited the salsa. Next time I will use the sauce that I usually make for the rellenos, I just didn't think the salsa would be a good choice. This recipe is so much simpler, no mess, than when making chile rellenos. Thanks.

Pumpkin Pie Bread

This recipe is a keeper. I am not a pumking pie person, but this bread was out of this world, sweet, moist, taste better the 2nd and 3rd day. I kept one loaf for us and took the other one to share with my friend after Bible study and they all said it was very good. Thank you so much for sharing.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Excellente! loved this cake, its exactly what I used to buy at the Mexican bakery in Ca. I had some friends over for a Mexican dinner and they all liked very much. I followed the recipe to a T, but I baked in a 9" round pan. Next time I am going to bake 2 cakes, let the bottom soak up all the 3 milks and then spread a strawberry filling (I love strawberries)and then put the other soaked cake on top and spread the cream/sugar topping. I can't wait to try it this way. I will keep you posted. Thank you for shring this exceptionally delicious recipe.

Pita Pizza

very good, filling, nutricious and easy to make. My daughter enjoyed it very much. I used whole wheat pita bread, lots of veggies and mozzarella cheese, yum. will definately make these again and again.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Instant Millionaire Pie for Diabetics

Made this pie in less than five minutes and it was a real treat. I like creamy, frothy deserts and this pie offers both. I am a diabetic and this pie will be a keeper for sure. I followed the recipe to the letter and I wouldn't change it. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Basic Crepes

Way better than my favorite restaurant's crepes. Stuffed them with whipped cream, strawberries and bananas and others with "cajeta quemada," Mexican caramel or what some people know as dulce de leche, delicious and definately a keeper!! Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Conchas (Mexican Sweet Bread)

Not really satisfied with how they turned out, though my family liked them. I thought they were quite dense and sort of gummy and the bottoms were a little too brown. I miss them though, I moved from California, were you can find them anywhere, to the northeast. Like the other reviewers, I think 15 mins would bake them perfectly. Next time I will only make a single batch and put a little bit more yeast and knead the dough a few more minutes and see how they turn out. The frosting came out perfect, I wouldnt change anything. Will keep you updated.

Mexican Corn Bread

great recipe!! I made it for dinner and my family loved it. I thought it was very moist and tasty and definately very rich. I added a lot more jalapenos than recipe called for, we love spicy food. I will be making it for sure many more times. Thank you!!!!

Creamy Caramel Flan

Wonderfully, rich and creamy!! I don't care for the "eggy" aftertaste that most flans have, this one couldn't even taste the egg. I used 4 eggs not 5 and it still held together, kept rest of recipe the same. Made one for my family and one for bridal shower and everyone just loved it. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
