The Ultimate Brownie

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
Great taste! Crispy top, but chewy bottom. My only concern is the nutrition. These brownies were very good, with the best chocolate taste and texture I've ever had in brownies. However, I can't digest fat well so I will probably not make these again for myself because of the nutrition, but great for others. Everyone loved them! Five stars for taste/texture/instructions, but 1 for nutrition.

Potato Candy

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
I loved these as a child! I made them this year for St. Patrick's day (with green food coloring in the sugar part). It was very tasty, but a little soft, even after keeping it in the fridge, even after adding 1/2 a bag of sugar instead of just 1/2 a Cup. Still, tasted jsut as good! I will definitely keep this recipe and try to perfect this childhood favorite!

Pudding Shots

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
These were very strong! Everyone tried one, but mainly because they were curious of what a "Pudding shot" was. Good way to switch things up, but I might try flavored vodka for more taste, instead of strength.

The tastiest marinade ever! The final product was Flavorful and moist! A HUGE hit from everyone (10+ people), everyone agreed that it was delicious. This dish was gone as soon as it was put out, (even after doubling the recipe!)

Beer Cheese Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Tasty, but a little bland. It was extremely thick, but I put the bowl in the microwave and heated it, and it was SOOO much better! I will definitely keep this hot next time. And add some hot sauce or worchestershire sauce like other recipes called for.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars III

Really sweet. Extremely rich with chocolate and peanutbutter taste, almost overwhelming. Next time I might add a layer of jam to cut down on the richness.

Very tasty and moist. Only regret is that I should have added more chocolate chips. :)

Raspberry Fudge Balls

VERY tasty. I did not use almonds, but covered them in colored sugar, but they were too sweet and sticky. Then I used unsweetened cocoa and they were delicious! They are sticky, even with the changes, but tasty.

Olive Cheese Appetizers

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
VERY tasty, and the dough is PERFECT. I hate a lot of bread and was hesitant on the breading, but it was cheesy and delicious! The only complaint is that after cooking they were VERY oily, so a little too fatty for me, even after using reduced fat butter. Otherwise, tasty!!!

Very moist, and tasty! Hard to cut in uniform pieces, so not great for displaying, but great flavor.

Peppermint Meringue Cookies

LOVE THEM! Great pink color, VERY minty. I took them to various parties, and people LOVED them if they liked mint. or for a classy look to cut down on mint flavor omit folding in the peppermint and just sprinkle on top for the look.

Not my favourite madeleine recipe, but tasty! Depending on how long you keep them in the oven, they can come out either dense or light and fluffy.

Macadamia Raspberry White Chocolate Cookies

Tasty cookies, but had an off-color. I waited until the end to put in the jam so they were not overly green. Great with Coffee! But not the best for presentation.

Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting

These cookies are Tasty! Not too sweet, so I made my own chocolate frosting on them and they were delicious. A little difficult to cut out, so towards the end I just used a spoon to drop them out, and they turned out fine.

Peppermint Patty Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
A huge hit with friends! I used Ande mint chips instead of peppermint patties, and the chocolate chips were tough to chew. Next time I will stick to Peppermint Patties. I also added a dash of peppermint schanpps to the batter, which gave it more of a refreshing taste to the brownies themselves.

Smoky Chipotle Hummus

Very spicy. Made one batch without the pepper, and it was too bland. But mixing the two helped. Mild and flavorful. Could not find sun dried tomatoes anywhere, and that would have given it some good flavor.
