This cake is AWESOME! My dad is vegetarian and doesn't eat eggs or anything with eggs, so it is perfect. My grandpa in a chocoholic and he really loved it. When I was searching for this recipe, I was actually looking for an oil cake that my grandma use to make. The recipe is pretty much the same, but you marble it. Add all the dry ingredients, minus the cocoa, and mix with the wet ingredients. Divide the mix and add the cocoa to half. When you are pouring it in the pan mix bits of the cocoa and regular batter. Afterwards, pull a fork through the batter to mix it up even more. This recipe is just perfect. Love it!!!

I really enjoyed this recipe, although I did change it slightly. Instead of using tomatoe soup, I used two freshed tomatoes, which I blanched and put in an ice bath to remove the skins. I diced the tomatoes and removed the seeds. I also used ground pork instead of sausage [cheaper], and when I finished browning it with the chopped onion I added the tomatoes as well as a 1/4 cup of ketchup for colour. I really enjoyed making this recipe and in addition made a vegetarian one for my dad with Yves soy ground beef. It also turned out really well. Over all a great recipe, but a bit time consuming.

I absolutely loved these oatmeal raisin cookies. I am a novice baker but trying new things. I searched for a oatmeal raisin cookie recipe on the internet and this was the first one I found. The recipe looked good so I tried it out. I did everything according to the recipe and they turned out amazing. I used my Kitchen Aid mixer to beat the butter with the sugars and the flour. I however, mixed the oats by hand. Also, I used quick cooking oats because I had no rolled oats, so that may have made a difference. I just signed up with allrecipes.com and next time I want to make something new I am going to search for recipes here.
