Some minor changes: make the rice the night before, so that it gets a chance to dry out and doesn't make your fried rice a sticky mushy mess! Also, partially or completely cook your egg in a seperate pan, as mentioned before. Finally, this recipe, when made correctly, is excellent! EDIT: Well I managed to make it right that one first time and have never been able to make it right again! I'm going to try leaving the rice in the fridge for two days instead of overnight and see if that helps. Ciao!
