This was wonderful. It was a great side to fix with a boring hamburger helper meal!!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

I hate to say it, but I was disappointed in the taste and texture. Most of the reviews were so positive. I added vanilla as some mentioned, the dough was easy to work with, I added kisses on some, they just were oily, and flavorless.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
Yes, the soy sauce is too much! I used 1/2c. instead and it was plenty salty. I used chicken breasts (4 lb. bag) and cooked it for 6 hours. It was good, but dry. I served it with long grain brown rice and sauted zuchinni (not seasoned because the chicken was soo saltly) and it was a nice blend.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

This was tasty. To speed up the dish I used cooked frozen broccoli and it didn't taste as good as the fresh would I'm sure. I'll make it again, but with fresh broccoli.

Coconut-Cornflake Cookies

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
I put these on my cooking stone that is saturated with grease and they came off but then fell apart. I stuck them back together and let them cool more. They taste great, though. I did back off the sugar to 3/4 C. and they were plenty sweet.

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
This was so good. ***Attention those of you that cook wild game!!**I seldom cook with ground beef, I use ground elk and this recipe was perfect for the lean, sometimes dry, elk. The sour cream did amazing things to the texture of the meat. I will make this again and share it with my elk-cooking friends! Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This is a wonderful way to cook elk steak! This turns out so tender and delicious. My children and husband commented on how they really liked it. I rubbed the elk with minced garlic instead of powdered and then followed the recipe exactly. You could add an extra boullion cube if you wish to give more flavor to the elk, but it wasn't neccessary.

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

I only had a cherry chip/white mix. I put in white and chocolate chips. I thought they were tasty, but they were very sweet with the cherry flavoring. I didn't have any nuts either.

Cheeseburger Soup II

My kids first had this at a potluck and raved. So I got the recipe and then lost it. This is great! Young and old love it. My aspiring chef daughter tweaked it tonight and added 1 tsp. of dijon mustard to it. Gave it a new dimension!

Braided Egg Bread

Fresh eggs make this recipe even better, if that is possible! I was not much of a bread maker until now. This recipe is definately hard to mess up, beautiful, and tastes great! My 9 and 5 year old love to shape it with me!

Baked Pork Chops I

Wow, everyone loved these! I made them for 19 and had to use more oil(I was frying with 2 pans going at the same time) and I did not use all the bread crumbs the the recipe called for. Not the healthiest meal in the world, but I will make these again!

Sunshine State Salad

This was easy and tasty. The grapefruit was a wee bit harsh for some who don't appreciate the fruit, but I enjoyed it. I was asked for the recipe. There is a can of pinapple/grapefruit, etc. out now that may also be used if you are wanting to simplfy more.
