I didn't actually get to eat any myself, as this was a gift pie, but I got nothing but absolute rave reviews. The birthday boy said he brought it to his family celebration, went outside for a few minutes and when he came back in it was all gone. It looks a little strange pouring the mixture over the top of the pie, but apparently it tasted wonderful. Used Jazz apples for the pie.

Big hit. Pretty difficult to make without an electric mixer. Great cookie, though.

Made two for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. Most guests requested that I make them each their own braid next time. Used orange, red & yellow peppers instead of just red. Delicious!
