Happily married since 1980. Four grown children, two boys and two girls. My favorite places are home, Ireland and the Chicago Botanic Garden. Anything that will bring all six of us to the dinner table together! Thanksgiving Dinner with mashed rutabagas and creamed onions, corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day, crepes with strawberry butter on Christmas morning and black-eyed peas on New Year's Day. First place in our village pie contest with my Blueberry and Nectarine Pie. Not winning the following year!
