Thanksgiving Dinner with mashed rutabagas and creamed onions, corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day, crepes with strawberry butter on Christmas morning and black-eyed peas on New Year's Day.
My cooking triumphs
First place in our village pie contest with my Blueberry and Nectarine Pie.
My cooking tragedies
Not winning the following year!

Best-Ever Cornbread-Sausage Stuffing
This is our family's favorite stuffing - I double the bread and use 2 pounds of mild pork sausage for a big turkey. We never have enough leftovers!

Ultimate Party Meatballs
This is a great recipe and would be 4 stars if homemade meatballs were used. Also, try adding a can of sauerkraut to the sauce - yum!

Caramelized Onions on the Grill
SO easy and SO delicious! This is true comfort food. Next time I make them I'll add a slice of swiss cheese to melt at the end and serve it in a bowl on top of a slice of texas toast garlic bread.
