About this Cook
Married, mom of 4, grandmom to 1!!
My favorite things to cook
chicken, chicken and more chicken......we don't eat too much red meat!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving is always my favorite holiday meal to cook.
My cooking triumphs
Ask my kids....they all love something different. Chicken Cassarole, Lasagna, Chicken Enchaladas or Chicken Stromboli!
My cooking tragedies
I tried once to make fudge, it was horrible, it stayed soupy and never firmed up. Promised myself I would never attempt that again!

Apricot-Ginger Asparagus
This was a great recipe. I did, however, change it up a bit. I have just found the zipper steamer bags and have been steaming EVERYTHING!! I trimmed the aspargus and put it in the zipper steamer bag, mixed up the sauce ingredients and microwaved them for 1 min. I then poured the sauce in the steamer bag with the aspargus, zipped and steamed! Turned out perfect!

Easy Rosemary Chicken
This was a great recipe!! I tweeked it some tho, I made it for 4, and added 4 cups uncooked rice with the soup mixture. Nestled the chicken in the rice bed, covered and baked for about 40-45 min till chicken was done. Stir the rice before serving. It's a great way to have a flavored side dish with the chicken. My family really liked it

Chicken Salad
This is a great recipe. Very east to make. I added some garlic and onion along with some pepper to spice it up a bit and added fat free mayo 1 tablespoon at a time. This was great taking to work for lunch in a large tomato, on a bed of salad greens, or even in a wrap with some lettuce.
