I live with my Husband and four spoiled dogs in Northern CA. My Daughter is grown and "left the nest" so I love to cook for company and special occasions whenever I get the chance. I like to bake and try new recipes and of course put my own spin on them. I love Bar-B-Que and I know the difference between "grilling" and real Bar-B-Que. We have three grills and one smoker!! I love to cook with the seasons, picking out the freshest fruits and veggies the season has to offer. Years ago when I cooked my first Thanksgiving (It's just a BIG chicken!) My husband and daughter are very pickey eaters so anything that they like I consider a triumph! Over the many, many years of cooking I've had cakes flop, roasts tough, rolls burn, mushy veggies, and grills catch on fire! But it's all a learning experience.
