I am--or shall I say, WAS--not a huge fan of banana bread, but this was just so delicious. I used 5 medium-large overripe bananas, and 1 1/2 cups all purpose and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour. I also added some cinnamon/nutmeg/allspice/vanilla and about 1/3 cup coconut flakes with some sprinkled on top before baking--SO yummy. My mother and I devoured it in no time. I think next time I will try making it a little healthier by substituting the butter for applesauce and using only egg whites. This one will be making a regular appearance in our house now. I've made this pie 5 times now, and am always so happy with it... My boyfriend is an apple pie lover, so I made this for him last year. We ended up eating the entire thing in one day. He still often raves about how I make the best apple pie ever. :) Thanks to Grandma Ople's recipe, it's true! It is THE best apple pie I've tried on allrecipes, by far. I always add a little cinnamon and vanilla to the apples before putting them in the crust. I also like to mix half the sugar mixture with the apples before putting them in the crust, then will pour the remaining sugar mixture over - I like to make sure everything is fully coated. I'm going to be using this recipe forever - thank you so much!

I made this for my boyfriend last Valentine's day - it was SO good. We ate it all within minutes. I was so pleased with the ease and taste. Totally worth making. Love it! Thanks!

This was my first attempt at making my own pie crust, and I must say I have been consistently happy with this recipe. I've used it with my apple pies and it's always come out just beautifully. The taste is what I consider a perfect pie crust. I plan on trying it with a pot pie soon and am sure it'll be just as awesome!

This was my first attempt at chili, and it came out just beautifully! It was incredibly easy and SO tasty. I live in a dorm and many people came by trying to figure out what smelled so good! :) I added two chicken bouillon cubes to the water for some more flavor. I also added a can of corn and some extra-spicy chili powder. Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Salt is awesome with this recipe. I will be making this again soon!

This is one of my absolute favorite recipes on the site. I love how fresh and spicy it tastes! - it's making my mouth water just thinking about it! I tend to leave out the avocado and tortilla, but stick to the recipe otherwise. I'll be keeping this one around for a long time!

This is my favorite pancake recipe. They taste just perfect. I usually add 2TBSP of vanilla because of personal preference, but I have made it without and the recipe is really great as is. UPDATE: Today I tried some changes that came out SO good: in addition to my normal 2TBSP vanilla, I replaced 1/2 the flour with 100% whole wheat flour and the butter with applesauce. It smelled and tasted amazing!

This was my first go at Chicken and Dumplings - I made it for my boyfriend who had never tried it before... he LOVED it. It turned out really great. I feel like I'll try playing with the recipe, maybe adding some more veggies in the future, but it is really great as is.

This is, 100%, my favorite cookie recipe ever. I've made this probably a hundred times by now and it never ceases to amaze me how good these cookies are! I've tried varying it with some coconut, chocolate pudding, or peanut chips - it's so easy to tweak. I ALWAYS get compliments on these! GREAT recipe, thanks so much!
