The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
These are wonderful! The dough is a bit sticky and tricky . . . Definitely leave in the fridge overnight. However, the end results are wonderful. I rolled my cookies quite thin and they turned out crisp and perfect, but I'm sure they would be great a bit thicker too. Also, half this recipe made more than three dozen thin, medium sized cookies. Plus, an extra 1/4 cup of icing sugar blended with the plain sugar helped to sweeten them up a bit more (some reviewers found them too bland). Also be sure to roll out the dough using icing sugar instead of flour.
