About this Cook
Deep down I LOVE being a lil' betty homemaker.
My favorite things to cook
I like to find new ways to cook seafood and fish. I am slowly learning how to make sushi. Any form of baked goods, plus experimenting with fondant.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Definitely cooking for Christmas Eve dinner. We have a huge family and 10 different kinds of christmas cookie recipes.
My cooking triumphs
My first time making small tea cakes with fondant icing. A surprisingly tasty seafood alfredo that included imitation crab meat. Glazed BBQ pork using a weird array of sauces and brown sugar.
My cooking tragedies
fallen souffle, a custard that didn't come out right and the chocolate cookies I had to make for christmas I burnt the chocolate and it was VERY bitter and unservable..

Irish Tea Cake
VERY tasty. Quite good for entertaining especially if just for tea and coffee. But did round off a nice cornbeef and cabbage dinner.
