Old Fashioned Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
I have made three of these cakes in less than two weeks. Every time I make it, it disappears and my friends complain that they didn't get any, so I have to make another one. At first it was alright because I tend not to like cakes that have an eggy taste, but it had a light eggy taste so that was ok. As per another person's suggestion I added sourcream and that helped it me moist. i also added almond extract which was another nice addition. Good cake, this definitely a staple. The only question I have is how do I make the pineapple's more soft.

Cream of Coconut Cake
Totally a five star cake. The only thing is I wish the cake had more of a coconut taste. I think the next time I will add coconut extract to the cake. This time I added almond extract which was good but next time coconut extract.

Smothered Beef Short Ribs
For now I am going to give this a four star because it wasn't what I expected. Maybe I added too much wine, I used Cabernet sauvigon wine and it may be to powerful for this dish, because it the gravy tasted like beef burgandy. It wasn't bad once I accepted the taste. I really wanted something that was gonna be like roast beef so that I could eat it over rice. But I think I will pair this with egg noodles. But it wasnt bad, my suggestion would be to be careful with how much wine you use
