My mother was an amazing cook as well as my grandmother, the only problem was my mom became too ill to show me her tricks of the trade. I started cooking when I was 12 and mainly learned how to cook by myself. When I was younger I would stand for hours in the kitchen watching my mother or grandmother cook, I remembered a few things. Over the years I have fallen in love with cookbooks, food tv and this website!! I love trying new recipies with my family. I love to cook chicken and pasta dishes and I really enjoy baking. I love to cook big meals especially around the holidays or if family comes in from out of town. I enjoy entertaining guests. I especially love cooking "comfort" food. My husband LOVES my lasagna and raves about it to his friends I have yet to master Key Lime Pie...
