As you may tell by my nickname, I'm a grandmother. It's always a challenge to keep up with the likes and dislikes of the grandsons as their tastes seem to change each time they visit. We like to take walks, watch movies and of course enjoy meals together with them. I can't really decide... I like making cookies and pies but I also like to make casseroles such as chicken florentine or macaroni and cheese, soups are favorites in the fall and winter. My stuffed mushroom recipe has been handed down to my son and we all love that at any family gathering. I like to make favorite foods for my favorite people so when I find out what their favorites are they can count on getting them. I created my own stuffed mushroom recipe, a very quick and wonderful corn chowder. My best and favorite company casserole is chicken florentine. We have a steak marinade we love to use for summer grilling. It was past that date so I tried frying marinated steaks and it was more like boiling them. That didn't work out at all.
