I used 1 lb of ground buffalo and 1/2 lb ground turkey and it turned out quite tasty.

While I can't say for certain whether this is the world's best lasagna, I won't hesitate to say that it's the best lasagna I've ever had. Despite a few changes (ground turkey instead of beef, didn't have any fennel and was a bit short on crushed tomatoes) this recipe turned out fantastic! It's definitely worth the time and effort.
