Lifesaver! I was making a recipe from this site that required Cajun seasoning and I was out. Rather than run to the store I used this recipe and it worked perfectly. Like other reviewers I did cut the salt in half. Thank you!!

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Excellent! I needed a way to use some of the extra cucumbers from my garden and this did the trick. I laid out my sliced cucumbers on paper towel and then sprinkled with salt to draw out excess water. I also used red onions to add some color. My family is thrilled that I found this recipe!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Very tasty, my entire family enjoyed it. The only change I made based on some of the reviews I read was to substitute dijon mustard for yellow mustard. Thanks for an easy and flavorful recipe!

French Dip Sandwiches

One of our favorite recipes on AR! Instead of water and a bullion cube I use beef broth - makes for great au jus. Serve with french bread and provolone cheese to complete! I always get lots of compliments on this meal and it also makes the house smell heavenly (thanks to the rosemary). Thanks for sharing!

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

My husband LOVED this meal....he loves stroganoff and I don't so I surprised him with this. I used beef stew meat, fresh mushrooms (added just a couple of hours before serving), red wine instead of white, 8oz of sour cream and 4 oz. of cream cheese. I served it over homemade egg noodles and was surprised that even I like it! The only thing I'll do a little differently next time is cut back a little on the cream cheese (2 - 3 oz rather than 4).

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

This recipe was okay but didn't knock my socks off as I had expected it to after reading the reviews. I used chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken because of my family's preferences and added bay leaf and peppercorns as suggested. Will make again in the future and try playing with it some more.

Amish White Bread

This bread was very good. I cut back on the sugar as other reviewers had suggested but next time will use the suggested amount. My bread didn't rise as much as it should have once in the bread pans (even waited far longer than time suggested) and was a bit dense for my liking but still tasty.

Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup

Delicious! I used rotisserie chicken and homemade egg noodles and omitted the potatoes (I don't like them). I also didn't use poultry seasoning because I was out but will try that next time. I used my slow cooker because we were on the go. I will be making this soup time and time again!

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

My brisket turned out AMAZING! I did use garlic powder rather than garlic salt and am glad that I did. I was also a little pinched on time and didn't make the BBQ sauce listed and served it with one of our favorite sauces also allowing people to control how much or how little sauce they had. This recipe is definitely a keeper! WOW!

Egg Noodles

This was my first try at making homemade pasta and I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it was and how good they were. I will definitely be hard pressed to go back to store bought noodles. I used these in chicken noodle soup and served them with beef stroganoff....and they were a big hit! Used my KitchenAid with dough hook to mix and that worked great....I have now purchased the pasta roller attachment since I plan on making more pasta in the future!

Firecracker Flank Steak

We were very disappointed with this recipe, given the name Firecracker I expected it to have more zip to it. We found the flavor to be rather bland and I had marinated the flank steak all day, used a hot salsa (personal preference), and followed the recipe exactly. I won't be making this again.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Very tasty, my family enjoyed this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly - next time I'll try marinading overnight to see if more flavor will permeate the meat. I did slice the meat before putting it in the marinade to cut down on the mess of cutting it after marinading.

Blackjack Brisket
