I am the single mother of two children, ages four and eight and I have become increasingly more interested in healthful cooking/eating since having children.
My favorite things to cook
Anything savory. I like strong flavors balanced with creamy sauces, meats and nuts, occasionally. And anything egg based. We get farm fresh eggs twice weekly and they are divine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My children love my egg in the hole breakfast that was passed down by my grandma's grandma and eggs benedict on Christmas morning.
My cooking triumphs
Conquering the complex array of spices necessary to preparing Indian primarily, and also Thai, foods.
My cooking tragedies
There have been so many but I have learned from each and every one so I can honestly say that I haven't made the same mistake twice.
