We did not care for this recipe at all. We liked the concept of mixing wild rice with chopped broccoli and diced ham, but the cream mixture was too much, and we even modified the original recipe based on other reviewers' feedback. The cream mixture and melted cheddar drowned out the light nutty flavor of the wild rice. We might try this again sans cream and cheese.

This is a good recipe for sandwich bread and toast. I have made it many times now as we use our bread machine weekly to make bread for our lunch sandwiches. I do not add the optional egg mix, I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil.
