About this Cook
I'm 25, married, and work for a financing company as a Contract Coordinator. Can't wait to have a baby, but husband thinks he needs to finish his masters degree first. Born and raised in Nebraska and both my husband and I consider ourselves pure Cornhuskers. We now live in Missouri where we enjoy the friends we've made but also miss our families and friends back home.
My favorite things to cook
Just about everything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Meeting for brunch at my moms house. Blueberry Pancakes and Egg Casserole, YUM!
My cooking triumphs
I'm excited about anything I cook/bake that turns out! =)
My cooking tragedies
A Peach Braid... Not only did I totally mutilate it, but it wasn't very tasty either. :-( See my picture.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies
Everyone loves these! I baked at 325 for about 35mins and then at 350 for the last ten mins. I made them for a house party so after I baked them I put them in a crock pot and poured about a 1/2C Maple Syrup over them. Mmmmm soo good! These are super easy to prep the night before!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
DELIGHTFUL! The are so good. I have always made this kind of cookie with a chocolate kiss or star but the peanut butter cup is EVEN BETTER! I don't know if I'll ever make them any different again! I followed other reviewers suggestions to wait a min or two after removing from oven (the centers begin to sink) to add the PB cup. And refrigerate before removing from muffin pan. That does work best but is not required. I was rushed and removed from pan and then stuck in fridge and it worked fine. Anyhoo, these are great and I recommend them!
