About this Cook
Married for 24 (gasp) years, and all to the same man! Thankfully he will eat just about anything because I love trying new recipes. Some are keepers, some not so much. We have a 9 year old grandson who is the light of our lives.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cookies at Christmas and my co-workers look forward to the huge trays I bring in. Gotta get rid of them somehow, and they, too, will eat just about anything. Kidding, I only take the ones that are really good, and that's usually most of them. I keep a list.

Cilantro Serrano Cream Sauce
Seriously good! My store didn't have serrano so I used jalapeno, left some membranes in for heat and used low fat half and half. Served over sauteed tilapia, but I can see using this in other ways as well. Did I mention that I loved it?

Pepper Steak Sandwiches
Really, really good. I used a poblano pepper instead of a green bell pepper and flank steak. Wonderful for lunch or simple supper. A keeper for sure!

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip
This is delicious! I took it to an Independence Day party and everyone loved it. I added chopped scallions, used Sweet Baby Ray's original sauce and served with Fritos Scoops. Will definitely make again (and again)!
