Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I made these cake balls for Thanksgiving and when I arrived with them, my aunt made some too! It was funny! :) Anyway, I made mine with a yellow cake and vanilla frosting and coated them with white and chocolate coating. I dipped them in crushed oroes, pecans, and spinkles. Everyone loved them!!! I thought they were good, but I am a chocolate fan. My aunt made hers with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting. Then dipped in white and reg. chocolate. Those were so good! UPDATE! I wanted to make cake balls for my husbands work party and didn't have cake mix.... So, I made brownies and made them the same way as regular cake balls. I made chocolate brownies with chocolate frosting and white and chocolate coating. They taste really good! I would definetly try to make them. They are a great hit! I will be making these often!!!

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
These are soo good! It's a good thing I halved the recipe, because I almost ate the whole pan! I was going to add the chocolate on top but started to eat them before they were set. Very good and easy to whip up. I have made a similar recipe with corn flakes and regular sugar(instead of brn sugar), then drop a spoonful onto waxed paper. This method is much easier and they taste the same.

Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
The dough was quick and easy to work with. I would have to make more of the filling and topping next time. In the pan specified, it cam out more like a coffee cake. I also made an icing to drizzle on top, once slightly cooled. It tasted so good with the icing. I will make again, but with some modifications.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
I made this and used strawberry yogurt and pureed 1 cup of fresh strawberries. It is very quick and easy! Once frozen it has a very creamy and ice cream taste and texture. Even better that it's fat free! :) Thanks!! I will make this again and try different fruits.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
I just whipped this corn up for dinner and it is so good. I didn't have heavy cream and only had skim milk. So, used skim milk in place of the cream and whole milk that the recipe called for. I did use less liquids, just so it wouldn't be so runny. It tasted so yummy and I couldn't even tell it wasn't made with heavy cream! I think it tastes just like our local BBQ creamed corn, here in Texas! Plus, made with the skim milk it is a little more healthier! I do think you should try! It was very easy aswell!

Buttercream Icing

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Very good and easy to make. I think it would have been sweet enough with just 2 cups of confectioners sugar. I have a huge sweet tooth and this was a very good icing, it tasted like a local bakery's icing here in Texas. I used this to frost sugar cookies and it went great with the cookies!

Scones

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I have never tried scones and always wanted to. Well, this is a really good recipe, they were very easy to make and taste yummy! I followed the recipe exactly and they came out great. When they were done, I then made a simple glaze to drizzle on top. So good! I had a friend over and she really enjoyed them and wanted to take one for the trip back home. Very good recipe and will make again! Thanks Donna!! ***UPDATE: OMG! I am addicted to these things! They are so good... I can't believe how easy and tasty these scones are. I have already made 4 batches and everytime they come out great! I have only been making them plain with a powdered sugar icing, drizzled on top. Everyone who tries them loves them! Even my picky husband! They are not too sweet, but just enough to keep you coming for more! I already ate 3! :0

Cream-Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
I made these for a BBQ and they were a hit! Everyone who had one really liked them. My husband and brother really enjoyed them aswell.. They actually fought over the last two, LOL! Very easy and I didn't change the ingreidents. I do suggest making a double batch of the filling. I didn't want to skimp out on the filling... Other than that these were really good and I already have a request to make them again!

Mall Pretzels

I just made these and they are so good!! I love them! The ingredients are easy to mix up. I just couldn't roll them to a 3 foot rope, I did the best I could and it didn't really matter because these came out great! I sprayed them with nonfat butter spray and sprinkled cinnamon/sugar and yummo! LOL.. A definite keeper!

Sweet Party Mix

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This is some good stuff! I made this for my husbands family that came down to Texas to visit and they loved it! I loved it too! It is soo yummy and addicting! I did change up the ingriendents like some of the other reviewers. I used the corn and wheat crispy square cereal, toasted pecans(I had them on hand), pretzels, and raisins. Once it completly cooled I added a few handfuls of m&m's candies. It is just so good! It did make a lot of mix! Great to bring to parties, which is what I plan on doing at the next party! Very good you need to try. Thanks for a yummy snack!

Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
This is a great and easy recipe! We really liked these and my husband is a very picky eater and doesn't like onions, green peppers and etc. I did omit the onions and only used 1 cup of ketchup and 1 cup of water. Other than those changes everything else was fine. So, I got a thumbs up from him! Very simple and good! I also made these to go on "Soft Sandwich Buns", from this site. These buns are so good and went great with the sloppy joes! Yummy dinner!

Soft Sandwich Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
OMG! These are so good and easy! Ok, the only thing different that I did was; used all-purpose flour instead of bread flour. Only because I ran out yesterday, and really didn't want to go to the store. So, I figured what is the worst that can happen..? I really liked them with the all-purpose flour and will try them again using bread flour. You need to try them! Thanks for a great recipe!
