About this Cook
I enjoy baking and cooking.. Baking is a passion of mine.. Sharing the yumminess of homemade baked goods is priceless. Maybe, one day I will open a homemade sweets shop or something. I love all of our pets.. We have six, 3 dogs and 3 cats! It's like a mini petting zoo!! Most of all, I love my Husband!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake any kind of desserts! I have a huge sweet tooth! So, I love to try new recipes and taste them, too!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really think we have any... When my husband and I decide to have kids, I will make some cooking tradions of our own.. I can't wait!
My cooking triumphs
Making a christmas dinner in 2007, for my family and friends. That was fun and scary.. It turned out to be a great dinner and everyone enjoyed it!
My cooking tragedies
When I was 13 years old, I tried to make lemon squares and messed up on one of the ingredients and they came out greenish instead of yellow... LOL! Not sure, but I think I mixed up the baking soda or baking powder. Anyway, my Aunt couldn't stop laughing at what I made.. It was a disaster.. But, a funny memory!

Sticky Buns
The dough was quick and easy to work with. I would have to make more of the filling and topping next time. In the pan specified, it cam out more like a coffee cake. I also made an icing to drizzle on top, once slightly cooled. It tasted so good with the icing. I will make again, but with some modifications.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt
I made this and used strawberry yogurt and pureed 1 cup of fresh strawberries. It is very quick and easy! Once frozen it has a very creamy and ice cream taste and texture. Even better that it's fat free! :) Thanks!! I will make this again and try different fruits.

Cream Corn Like No Other
I just whipped this corn up for dinner and it is so good. I didn't have heavy cream and only had skim milk. So, used skim milk in place of the cream and whole milk that the recipe called for. I did use less liquids, just so it wouldn't be so runny. It tasted so yummy and I couldn't even tell it wasn't made with heavy cream! I think it tastes just like our local BBQ creamed corn, here in Texas! Plus, made with the skim milk it is a little more healthier! I do think you should try! It was very easy aswell!
