High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

This is great! Eye of round is no longer pot roast fodder. Now pot roast can be relegated to the cheaper cuts.

This recipe is wonderful! Out of necessity, I made a few changes. For breakfast I had no sausage, but I did have chorizo. I had a dozen eggs, so I used them all. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe. The casserole was cooked at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. It worked!

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

I didn't care for this dish at all. Way too dry. I've had good ground beef stroganoff, but this new recipe is going right back in the hopper.

Best Black Beans

These beans are tasty. If you like black beans, this side dish is quick and easy. The only negative, for me, is that the flavors were not complex enough, but that's just me. Good beans. Try them.

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

These were very good pancakes. Due to the thickness of the batter, I wasn't able to make the published number of pancakes, but small price to pay! The addition of blueberries added to the flavor.

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

Fortunately, I couldn't taste the mayo. It lent itself perfectly to the texture of the scrambled eggs. If I didn't prefer fried eggs, I'd enjoy this scrambled egg recipe more often! It really was good!

Meatloaf With A Bite

To my taste, this was not good. The loaf was loose and lacking flavor. I wanted to like it, but I was very disappointed. There is no way this loaf yields six servings. More like two.

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

This recipe is fabulous! Even altitude of over a mile, the recipe worked. The next time, the only thing I would add is more heat. It's a southwestern kinda thing!

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

These brownies were pretty good, but I had difficulty distinguishing the cream cheese flavor. It was overwhelmed by the chocolate, which in itself isn't a bad thing! These freeze well.

Best Ever Banana Bread

I was a little disapointed. I followed the recipe to the "T", but it was somewhat dry. It tasted more like peanut butter than bananas, but I really like peanut butter so it didn't matter. 200+ people can't be wrong, so I'm going to try it again.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

This is a very good recipe. First time around the only rice I had on hand was Jasmine. A little too sticky. Next time I used organic brown rice and it was wonderful. This recipe takes longer to prepare than I had hoped, but the time was worth it!

Deidra's Hot Wings

These were just "ok" wings, which I doubt I'll make again. I've made them twice with the same outcome each time. The skin wasn't crisp, the sauce had dried up and they were kinda dry.
