My cooking tragedies
My tragedies would be that if when my children were still young and did not recognize what was n their plates, they would run to tell dad before he got to the table that "Dad...moms been experimenting again" Now they cannot wait to try the new dishes, but also still look forward to the familiar when they come home.

Pleasant Pork Chops
This is an awesome recipe. I also added wine, but had no chicken stock, thus using a vegetable stock with great results. I also added 1 tsp (approx) of fresh chopped rosemary and 3 bay leaves. I prefer bone in chops as th bones add lots of flavor. Just like when making other sauces that add sour cream at the last, simmer the sauce down to a thick reduction and then when you add your sour cream your sauce will be of perfect consistancy!! A brown rice mix with this sauce is amazing! Will be making this again!

Minestrone Soup
I loved this recipie! I followed the recipie loosley, varying the veggies a bit, but loved it. It is a thick soup and great with some fresh grated cheese on top. This is the first minestrone my husband will eat wothout complaining!
