I am a wine steward and server in a chef-owned restaurant, and work as a personal chef on the side. My mother started teaching me how to cook when I was 6 or 7, and working for chefs for the last 15 years has expanded my knowledge and understanding. I once turned down a date to stay home and play with my new ice cream maker. I'm always looking for new things to try. I especially like interesting combinations that you sound odd but really work.
