I love cooking game. Venison, elk, gamehen etc... I also really enjoy making vegetarian dishes for my wife, a vegetarian since 1992. Having an avid meat eater and a vegetarian in the same household presents certain challenges when it come to preparing meals. However with a lot of creativity and a little bit of TLC, making wonderful meals for both our tastes has become a favorite hobby. I come from a mixture of Irish and Polish. And my family has blended some traditional meals from each. During the holidays your sure to find some fresh sausages as well as a multitude of cabbage and potato dishes, example would be Colchannon. A traditional irish cabbage and potato dish. Absolutely wonderful.
