About this Cook
I'm 26 years old and live with my BF. We share our house with our "furry" kids, 2 cats and a very lovable dog. I love to cook, it relaxes me and helps me focus, kinda like a good book! I love to make a mess but hate cleaning it up.....my dad would say that's why he had kids, to clean up after him!! ha ha Not a bad idea.....J/K
My favorite things to cook
I love to make appetizers and pasta dishes. I'm an appetizer queen! I'm always excited for the next party we're invited to just so I can make something fun and delicious.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My great grandmother was from Germany and made some amazing dishes. The two I remember helping her with the most were her meat balls and German chocolate cake. Now that my BF and I live together I look forward to creating some of our own traditions.
My cooking triumphs
Anything that doesn't come out burned, scorched or gross! I was proud of my cake in a cone and my pizza dough I made from scratch. My BF would say that he LOVES my italian beef sandwiches BUT I make it in a slow cooker so I feel I can't take ALL the credit. :)
My cooking tragedies
CHEESECAKE! I've finally mastered the art of baking, although I would prefer to eat some one else's baking than my own, but I CANNOT make a cheesecake. I think it was because I mixing everything by hand and it wasn't smooth enough. I'm hoping my mixer will creat some miracles for me.

Pumpkin Fluff Dip
Delicious! I loved how light and fluffy it was. We served with graham crackers. I will be making this again.

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls
This was very good! I didn't change a thing to the recipe. Next time I think I'll rub the chicken with some salt and pepper for a little more taste.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Just wasn't our favorite! I'm not sure if it was the sauce we chose or what (Franks Hot Wing Sauce). BF didn't even finish his sandwich.
