I live with my hubby and we share our house with our "furry" kids, 2 cats and a very lovable dog. We just got married in Sept of 2011 so its been a very busy year for us so far! And to top things all off we're in the middle of a renovation! Whew! I love to cook, it relaxes me and helps me focus, kinda like a good book! I love to make a mess but hate cleaning it up. Its always evolving and forever changing! I've found I have a knack for finding really great appetizers for special events and I'd rather cook than bake. I love pairing cheeses with wine and having people over to try them. Lately I've gotten into infused olive oils and LOVE them. Basil olive oil brushed on grilled pizza dough is wonderful! My great grandmother was from Germany and made some amazing dishes. The two I remember helping her with the most were her meat balls and German chocolate cake. I can't wait for my husband and I to start our own family and make some of our own traditions. Definitely have had my share!
