Cheater Baked Ziti

Very tasty! I browned the sausage first and then used the oils from that to cook everything else. Next time I will cut my taters smaller so it all cooks a bit faster. But quite filling and everyone enjoyed!

Baked Chicken and Zucchini

Very good! Followed the directions to the T with the exception of not sauteeing the zucchini first. It was cooked perfectly. Yum!

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Taco Stuffed Shells

Very good. I improvised a bit based on some ingredients I needed to use up. I stirred in about 4 oz of cream cheese to the meat mixture and boiled enough shells to fill a 9x13 pan. Baked covered @ 350 for about a half hour and then covered with cheese and green onion for about 15 minutes. Everyone enjoyed!

Golden Pork Chops

Delicious! We really enjoyed this recipe. I chose to brown them on the stove and just simmer on low for about 1.5 hours. This left my oven free for side dishes. Will definitely keep in the rotation.

Best Ever Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer!

Simply delicious. I used one regular sausage and two hot sausages. Mmmm. Didn't have oregano or cilantro but otherwised followed to a T.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Very tasty and so simple. I left out the celery just because I didn't have any; and after reading many reviews did 1.5 c red wine (couldn't find burgundy?) and .5 c beef broth. Also used a pork dry gravy mix at the end. Yum.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

We enjoyed. I doctored it a lot. I was home all day so I kept tasting and adding spices as needed. Added some peppers early and some near the end. Not sure if I will make again but I enjoyed trying something new!

Ham N Egg Skillet

This was good! I realized at the last minute I didn't have peppers or onions, so I'm sure it would be better with. I do think it needed a couple more eggs or a bit less potato. But GREAT for leftover ham and so easy! Love one skillet meals.

Beef Bourguignon II

Pretty good. My meat ended up drying out pretty badly, even with adding about an additional cup of beef broth. The red wine "gravy" was good over butter noodles but we kind of ate around the meat. Thanks for the recipe! Just not for us.

Wisconsin Blue Ribbon Chili

Definitely easy, and very mild. I personally added a lot more seasoning but I was using a full lb of pasta, so that may be why it needed more flavoring. I forgot the red bell pepper so I went without. I also added in more chili powder and some cumin. A+ for ease!

Cola Pot Roast I

Very good. I usually make pot roasts with a brown gravy so this was a nice change. This had a VERY good flavor and my house smelled wonderfuly all day. Will definitely keep in the rotation!

Berdean's Cube Steak

I liked this. My family didn't seem to like it as much but I say tough. :) The gravy was very watery and needed to be re-boiled on the stove with some cornstarch. Lots of salt and pepper was added but overall great flavor! Being from the south we typically eat this deeper fried with peppered milk gravy so this was a nice change of pace. My skillet couldn't hold all of them so I did oven bake after browning (325 for 2 hrs). Thank you for the recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Very good. My only changes were due to what was available to me. I used 2 16 oz bags of broccoli and 2 boxes (32 oz each) broth. I did use pretty heavy salt and pepper and threw in a couple chopped carrots for color (and to use them up). We enjoyed it. I might try throwing in some leftover ham next time to make it a bit heartier. I bet that would be tasty. :)
