I recently completed my doctorate in psychology with a focus on applied neuropsychology, which means I'm only moderately less poor and have a little more time and energy for hobbies. I've only just discovered a love for cooking (eating, I have always loved) and have a willing guinea pig in my new husband (who has subsisted on fast food since medical school and thinks anything beyond that is gourmet...I love a man who thinks salad is a delicacy).
My favorite things to cook
Hmmm...well, the things I love to eat include pasta, pasta and more pasta. As a former vegetarian I'm only just learning to cook meat and seafood, but I am very excited about the results thus far!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Dad's homemade jam and all things breakfast-related; Mom's potroast; little brother's fresh Alaskan Halibut
My cooking triumphs
Full turkey dinner for the new in-laws...whew, talk about pressure.
My cooking tragedies
How much time do you have? I could go on for pages...
