Oklahoma Brisket

Absolutely perfect. This is our 4th or 5th attempt at making a brisket... we did cook it for 3 hours at 250, then an extra hour at 300. The best brisket I have ever had. Thanks so much for sharing!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
it was pretty time-consuming and I really didnt think it was worth the effort put in. I will, however, say that I was very happy to find a recipe that my baby could enjoy for her first birthday and that was a lot healthier than those made with shortening or with butter. I did use powdered sugar, so I would suggest adding more sugar if you are replacing with powdered. Thanks for sharing it!

Apricot Chicken II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
WEll, let me just preface by saying that we love sweet and savory combinations and my husband added a bit more brown sugar than suggested, but I still found it way too sweet. It reminded me a lot of chinese style sesame chicken, so next time I think I will just add a bit more vinegar and use balsamic, and turn it into a healthy version of the chinese favorite

We will definitely be making this again. We even skipped the salt and pepper.

Asparagus Chicken Crepes

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
I think this recipe was very good but I honestly don't think I will be making it again. It seemed very heavy and we tend to eat a lot lighter... good flavors but one crepe per person with a salad on the side will be plenty

I dont know what I did wrong but these came out terrible. They didnt fluff or get brown, just kind of flattened and got hard.

SOOOOO yummy! I made this for my husband today because he has a cold. I followed it exactly and at the end I added some bacon and a dash of hot sauce (because it helps with the cold). It was absolutely wonderful. It was never clumpy! I will use this technique for many other soups, super simpe adn went off without a glitch!! Thanks so much

AMAZING salad!! I didn't have italian dressing so I just grilled the chicken with garlic powder. I loved it and so did everyone else in our family... and they're "ranch dressing" people. Thanks so much!

I just wanted to note that my husband snuck into my account and looked up this recipe and made it for dinner (I am in the early stages of labor). I only realized it because of the recently viewed recipes button. <3 great job, husband-proof!

Aji de Gallina

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
I used to have a maid that made the best Aji de Gallina EVER! and i've been looking for a recipe that was similar this is the closest I have found. It does take a lot of time but it is soooo yummy. I know she used to put OCOPE in it instead of turmeric but I wasn't able to find either. :( I would put a little less cheese and maybe a little more chicken stock to make it more like the one I used to have but it was very yummy just make sure you have time to put into it!

sooooooo yummy. I usually just use garlic powder and omit the cheese to make it a little healthier... today I tried it with some orange juice and green onions and broiled for the last 5 min. DELICIOUS!

Mango Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
Hey guys, this is my recipe. When you mix the last sauce, add the water but make sure it is HOT so the honey is mixable instead of sticky. And I just put fresh mango's in the juicer to get the nectar. Enjoy!

Sweet and Sour Chicken III

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
my husband said its "the best chinese food ever!" and he hates chinese food. I had to add a ton of brown sugar to the original recipe because my husband forgot to get the 20 oz like people had recommended. I think it would have made it much better. oh and I floured the chicken and fried it... then let the oil dry out of it before covering it with the sauce. and I put some cornstarch on the rice to make instant rice, sticky rice. it was great, but read the other reader's recommendations

Mango Chutney Cheese Ball

Reviewed: May 17, 2008
I feel like the bacon taste was barely there. I added the whole rest of the package and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I didn't have the budget for mango chutney, so I chopped and mashed some mango and piled it on top like the main picture and it looked just great!
