About this Cook
I love eating out at fancy restaurants... new american and asian cosine are my favorites. I find so much joy in the perfect combination of flavors, I never thought I could love it more... and then i got pregnant! Now food tastes even more amazing... and I have a new found passion for food!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking like I am eating in a fancy restaurant. My mom says i cook like everyday is sunday dinner. I love presenting my food in a neat way, usually fanning out avocado slices is my signature. I also love to use honey and sea salt in my meals... you can be almost guaranteed both ingredients in anything I cook.
My cooking tragedies
Oh Oh Oh I cannot believe I am being asked about this!! I have to say, without a doubt, the worst thing I have ever cooked is LAMB. I consider myself a very good cook and, quite frankly, I blame it on the meat. I went out and bought a very expensive organic rack of lamb, marinated it overnight, and even interlocked the ribs to stand up on the pan with veggies underneath. i thought it would be amazing. I don't know WHAT went wrong but, whatever it was, went terribly so, inundating my apartment with the most wretched smell that lasted for days. It was absolutely INEDIBLE.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting
it was pretty time-consuming and I really didnt think it was worth the effort put in. I will, however, say that I was very happy to find a recipe that my baby could enjoy for her first birthday and that was a lot healthier than those made with shortening or with butter. I did use powdered sugar, so I would suggest adding more sugar if you are replacing with powdered. Thanks for sharing it!

Apricot Chicken II
WEll, let me just preface by saying that we love sweet and savory combinations and my husband added a bit more brown sugar than suggested, but I still found it way too sweet. It reminded me a lot of chinese style sesame chicken, so next time I think I will just add a bit more vinegar and use balsamic, and turn it into a healthy version of the chinese favorite
