Chess Cake
I was really looking forward to this recipe. It was good, but took much longer than 35 minutes to bake. It was closer to an hour. But other than that, yummy!

Soft Sugar Cookies V
The sugar cookies I've made in the past have always been rock hard. These were super soft and stayed that way for a couple of days. I halved the recipe somewhat easily, and they were delicious. I used the Sugar Cookie Frosting recipe from this website and we gobbled them up!

Sugar Cookie Frosting
Super yummy. I used butter instead of the shortening as recommended. I usually don't make frosting at home, but this frosting was so good that I'm never going to use store bought frosting for cookies again! I used the frosting with the Soft Sugar Cookies V recipe, and the cookies turned out perfectly! My future FIL thought that I had bought them at a bakery!
