About this Cook
Hi, everybody! Thanks for looking at my profile. I really love cooking and baking. I am a vegetarian and a big seafood and dessert lover. I like mexican, latin american, asian, arabic food and I'm always searching for new recipes and for new different ways of preparing meals. Althouth I don`t have wide experience in cooking, my family like my dishes. And I can say I am getting better and better thanks to Allrecipes.
My favorite things to cook
Everything! Salads, meat, fish, chicken, desserts, pies, bread, cocktails etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family doesn`t have special cooking traditions. At Easter we make lamb and some traditional Easter cakes and desserts.
My cooking triumphs
When people appreciate my meal it is my cooking triumph. When I make some dish and later many times I hear from my family how wonderful it was, it is my cooking triumph too.
My cooking tragedies
When I try a recipe and my family don`t like it, this is my cooking tragedy.

Batata Nu Shak (Potato Curry)
Thanks for sharing, Susmita, we were very impressed. This dish reminds me of the delicious potato dish or curry I`ve tried in my local Indian restaurant. But this was even better. I didn`t have fennel seeds and asafoetida, so I omit them. Very delicious.

Peach Margarita
Maybe it were my peaches, but I seemed this cocktail was bland. I used lime juice and orange liqueur instead of lime margarita mix and all I felt in this cocktail were lime juice, tequila and something else, but this something wasn`t peach flavor. I`ve tried other fruit margaritas (strawberry, banana, mango) and these were better in comparison with this one.

True Blue Custard Crunch Pie
This pie is fantastic! I baked it and a half of this pie disappeared just in 20 min after baking. I used a little brown sugar in the custard and added brown sugar and cinnamon to the topping. Cheap ingredients and very easy to make.
