Country Apple Dumplings
At first I thought I did something wrong because I only read the good reviews and based on the overall rating thought it would be great. Way too much butter and sugar and the Mountain Dew made it taste processed. It came out very gooey on the bottom and just tasted "off". It sounded weird but I was willing to try. I was glad though about the idea to use the crescent rolls with the apples and I will make my own recipe from that. I would not have thought to do that so thanks for that idea.

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket
Being a Texan with a husband who has been on award winning cook teams, I was VERY skeptical of a brisket cooked in a slow cooker. Wow...amazed. The brisket even had the "ring" around the outside. Even my husband was impressed and everyone loved it. Thanks for sharing! This is a keeper!

Ratatouille
I have to say I am jealous of all of the reviewers using fresh from the garden veggies. Being from Ohio orignally I know that feeling! However, this was great! I have wanted to make this ever since the movie came out but thought the veggies would too over cooked. Not so with this recipe. They were crunchy, just the way I like them. Thank you for sharing. The only change I made was adding Romano cheese instead of Parmesean and a little more garlic and fresh parsley. BTY I got the idea from a post I had on this site looking for fresh veggie casseroles. I really love this site!
