I love cooking - My dad died when I was young so Mom taught me to be more tha self sufficient in the kitchen. My first book was a children's cookbook and I have gone on from there. My boyfriend owns a catering company and I enjoy giving him new dishes to try. My favorite is "Eddie Lasanga" named after my cousin's ex-boyfriend who taught us one night how to cook it. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-L-Y easy and so, so yummy. Always cooking with my Maternal Grandma - she taught us all to hold our own - she was always sharing, always teaching. I miss her to this day - all of our holiday meals revolve around her still. Fist cake from the Jr. Cookbook - I misread the ingredients - I used Baking Soda instead of Baking Powder. Hello Soap Cake. AWFUL!!!!
